VCF Femenino signings: Ellen Jansen

VCF Femenino have signed Dutch forward Ellen Jansen from Ajax, on a deal through to until June 30th, 2022.
The 27-year-old, born in Markelo (Netherlands) on October 6th, 1992, is 1.78 meters tall and has extensive experience at the highest level. The Dutch striker played for Twente from 2008 to 2018, making 151 appearances, scoring 94 goals, winning two Eredivisie and a Dutch Cup in the process. After signing for Ajax, she played 35 games, scored 15 goals and lifted the 2019 Dutch Cup.
A full international with the Netherlands with 16 caps, she was part of the side that finished runners-up in the 2019 World Cup in France, losing in the final to the USA.
Ellen Jansen: “I can’t wait to start my adventure in Valencia. It will be my first experience of playing abroad, but I feel like I'm ready for it. I am looking forward to helping the team and the club with my experience in the Champions League and in the World Cup. On the field, I hope I can score goals and provide assists for my teammates!”
