‘Valencia CF visits your school’ kicks off a new season in Torrent
The Club will visit twelve schools with special attention to the centres affected by the flash floods
The VCF Academy provided a wealth of players who featured in the friendly that Valencia CF played at the Antonio Puchades against Atromitos FC.
Debuting in a starting role was Joseda Menargues, the player who joined the club aged 14. He played the full 90 minutes, divided between the left wing and central midfield.
A fellow veteran of the youth system came on in the second half, as Rubén Iranzo -in his eleventh campaign with the club- enjoyed minutes in defence.

Marc Ferris' unofficial debut was a celebratory occasion, as in recent years he has had to overcome three serious knee injuries.
Goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili, who joined the club this summer, made his first appearance. The Georgian Under-21s international made several outstanding saves.

Other VCF Academy products also participated, such as Jesús Vázquez -who had already debuted in official action last season in the Copa del Rey- and Fran Pérez, who had played in preseason last year.
Diego López, Alberto Mari and Adri Gómez had all previously played in the friendly last Friday against Villarreal CF.
