Diego López: “I hope they enjoy the Valencia CF Academy World Cup”
The Valencia CF striker is this year's ambassador
The VCF Academy have begun visits to the different VCF Soccer Academies distributed throughout America, Asia, Africa and Europe, with which they maintain permanent contact online and in person.
The first VCF Soccer Academies to receive these visits from those in charge of the VCF Soccer Academy Programs were the VCF Soccer Academy Greece and the VCF Soccer Academy Cyprus, which have had ties with the club for the last 5 seasons.
There are 13 locations throughout Southeast Europe with more than 2,000 boys and girls learning from the methodology of the VCF Academy, one of the best in Europe in the training of elite players, according to the latest reports from the CIES Football Observatory.
VCF Academy Programs members Vicente Roch and Joan Aguado visited these academies participating in the VCF Soccer Academy Greece Elite Camp with U-12, U-14 and U-16 players at venues in Athens, Piraeus, Syros, Livadia, Samos, Haidari, Kifissia, Troizinia, Kefalonia and Thessaloniki, in addition to holding a seminar with coaches.
At the VCF Soccer Academy in Cyprus, Vicente Roch participated in the start of the 2022/23 season at the Nicosia facilities, as well as in a skills seminar and training sessions for the U-12 team that participated in the VCF Academy World Cup tournament in June.
"The VCF Soccer Academies in Greece and Cyprus are growing a lot at a technical level" explains Roch. "Visiting them allows us to check the work by the coordinators and coaches and witness how they apply all the content acquired during the training that takes place during the season."
These visits to Greece and Cyprus begin a series of visits that the VCF Academy coaches will make to each of the VCF Soccer Academies, including in the US (Houston, New York and Seattle), Canada , Morocco, South Korea, Greece and Cyprus.
“This type of visit serves to reinforce the link between Valencia CF and the VCF Soccer Academies around the world, so we are very happy to visit our ambassadors in Greece and Cyprus again and see the good work and commitment that they have to Valencia CF," adds Aguado.
