Valencia CF use IMED Valencia hyperbaric treatment for injury recovery
The IMED Valencia facility boasts the latest technology and the most innovative treatment methods, and Valencia CF have the privilege of being able to enjoy their magnificent facilities to aid the recovery of their footballers.

Most recently, player Jesús Vázquez undertook his injury recovery therapy at IMED Valencia and underwent hyperbaric medicine treatment. This procedure consists of a combination of high oxygen breathing in an environment with pressure higher than that of the atmosphere, enabling oxygen to pass to body tissue, reaching areas with little oxygenation and with low blood supply.

Hyperbaric medicine in athletes has the ability to reduce injury recovery time, increase sporting performance and combat fatigue. IMED, as Valencia CF's Official Medical Partner, have state-of-the-art facilities that meet the highest quality standards, enabling the club to fully trust in their healthcare professionals and treatment methods to help players recovery speedily from setbacks.
