Valencia CF to play friendly against AZ Alkmaar
The match will be played on December 22 at 12pm
Valencia CF will face AZ Alkmaar in a friendly match on Thursday, December 22nd at 12pm local time. The game will be played at the Ciudad Deportiva during LaLiga's break for the 2022 World Cup.
Valencia CF have already faced the Dutch club on two previous occasions, both in the 2011/12 season. The paths of the two teams crossed in the quarterfinals of the Europa League. Valencia CF lost the first leg in the Netherlands 2-1, but came back to win 4-0 at Mestalla.
The game joins the match against Nottingham Forest -on Friday, December 16 at Mestalla- on the schedule of friendlies during the international break.
