Valencia CF, through the VCF Foundation, has organised a day full of magic with the Food Bank, in which the Camp de Mestalla serves as a stage for the distribution of food and toys to families in need on the occasion of Three Kings’ Day eve.
More than 300 children, from families who usually attend the food distributions at Mestalla, received a toy and a Valencianista gift, as well as a pizza or hamburger thanks to the collaboration of Valencia CF sponsors Papa John's and LaMburguesa. In addition, each family was also given a "roscón de reyes" provided by the Banco de Alimentos (Food Bank). The distribution was carried out by volunteers from the Food Bank together with staff from Obra Social La Caixa and Valencia CF employees.
The event was attended by Valencia CF’s president Layhoon Chan, Valencia CF ambassadors Ricardo Arias, Miguel Tendillo and Miguel Ángel Tendillo. Also present on behalf of the Club were Javier Solís, Valencia CF's corporate director, Inma Íbañez, the club's financial director and Julián Suescum, director of security and HR. In addition, Mr. Álvaro Almenar, Valencia CF chaplain and vice-rector of the Basilica of our Lady of the Abandoned.
