Valencia CF join ADELA Association in ‘La Copa Mola’ initiative
Valencia CF will play the quarter final tie of the Copa del Rey against Cádiz CF at Mestalla.
On the occasion of this encounter, the club has wanted to join the initiative of ADELA CV (Association of People Affected by ALS) under ‘La Copa Mola’ motto.
With a commitment that will see the players run onto the field in a green shirt that reads ‘La ELA existe. ConócELA’ (‘The ALS exists be aware of it’) in the moments leading up to kick-off-

The ADELA- CV Association has been working for 30 years to improve the quality of life of the families affected by this disease, sufferers and carers support the research as well as promoting social awareness through visibility.

There are around 400 people affected by the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), a neurodegenerative disease that causes the progressive paralysis of the muscles involved with movement, speech, swallowing and breathing.
The life expectancy of a person diagnosed with ALS is from 4 to five years from the moment that the first symptoms begin making it one of the cruellest and unknown diseases there is.
Valencia CF join forces with ADELA Association to raise awareness about the disease, the people affected, the sufferers, and families alike.
