The ADELA- CV Association has been working for 30 years to improve the quality of life of the families affected by this disease, sufferers and carers support the research as well as promoting social awareness through visibility.
There are around 400 people affected by the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), a neurodegenerative disease that causes the progressive paralysis of the muscles involved with movement, speech, swallowing and breathing.
The life expectancy of a person diagnosed with ALS is from 4 to five years from the moment that the first symptoms begin making it one of the cruellest and unknown diseases there is.
