The Mestalla Stadium opens its doors once again for Valencia CF training after Christmas
Fans will be able to support the team during the session on Monday, December 29, at 11:30 a.m.
A Matchday 29 victory at the Sánchez Pizjuán meant that Valencia CF have extended their run to 16 consecutive games unbeaten in all competitions. It is one of their most successful such streaks since 1941/42 , with 9 wins and 7 draws.
The run includes 9 games without a loss in LaLiga, 4 in the UEFA Europa League and 3 in the Copa del Rey. Their last defeat was in the cup on January 22nd, against Getafe CF. No other club in Spain have currently put together as many matches unbeaten.
In 1941/42, with Ramón Encinas as coach, Valencia CF had an excellent end to their LaLiga campaign, with 10 wins and 2 draws that led to them becoming champions. The good results continued with 4 wins in the cup.
In 1925/27, in the Campeonato Regional, Valencia CF also went 16 games unbeaten. They have the chance to set a new record this Wednesday against Real Madrid at Mestalla.
