Jordi Alba announces his retirement from professional football
The decorated Spanish defender joined Valencia CF at the age of 18, the Club where he grew and was given the opportunity to make his LALIGA debut
The VCF Academy continues to expand its international network and has reached an agreement with The Bridge SC. A high-performance academy located in Amman, capital of Jordan, founded in 2021.
"We are very happy to bring Valencia CF and the VCF Academy methodology to Jordan, a country where football is growing in recent years and we are sure that we will help The Bridge SC to continue developing as an elite academy in Jordan," says Joan Aguado, head of VCF Academy Programs.
Currently, The Bridge SC's main objective is to develop local players who can make the leap to professional football or who can access scholarships to combine their studies with their soccer career in other countries.
For their part, Jordanian academy's owner, Mira Alshankti, says: "Strengthening talent in the region and providing opportunities for further education and the pursuit of professionalism is an essential part of The Bridge. I believe this partnership will strengthen our commitment to the region and provide more opportunities for potential candidates."
International strategic alliance
With this agreement Valencia CF continues its international expansion and reinforces its commitment to disseminate the VCF Academy's work methodology.
"This collaboration with Valencia CF has a very positive impact on the development of our training and promotion programs, as well as a great opportunity for our players in Jordan to gain international exposure," adds Andres Beroiz, the co-founder of The Bridge SC.
"The values of Valencia CF represent what we, at The Bridge SC, are building. It is a great opportunity, and an honor, to collaborate in spreading these principles," explains Ivan Beroiz, co-founder of the Jordanian club.
Valencia CF - Middle East
Valencia CF and the VCF Academy held the first women's campus in Saudi Arabia. This Valencia CF campus in Jeddah was a first step in a process with which the Valencia CF Club aims to develop women's soccer in various countries in the Middle East that have already shown interest in counting on Valencia CF to promote women's soccer, as is already being done in many of the VCF Soccer Academies in Seattle, Houston, Canada and Greece, among others.
The VCF Soccer Academy Programs that the VCF Academy has in strategic markets in North America, Europe, Africa and Asia are part of the VCF Soccer Academy Programs that help to expand the Valencia CF brand and what its colours symbolise around the world. This Internationalisation Strategy has been a finalist in the World Football Summit Awards 2022.
The main objective of the VCF Soccer Academy Programs, in addition to expanding the image of Valencia CF and its philosophy around the world, is to take the training methods of Valencia CF to any part of the planet and spread the values that have always accompanied this Club, making the participants enjoy and learn from the hand of the best professionals of the Valencia CF Academy, one of the best in Europe according to the latest reports of the CIES Football Observatory.
The Valencia CF Soccer Camps, the VCF Soccer Academy and the Sports Consultancy services are just some examples of this great project.
