This Christmas Eve at Mestalla, 3,000 meals put together by World Central Kitchen were delivered to 22 charities and associations from Valencia.
World Central Kitchen is the organisation created by chef José Andrés, which joined the initiatives set up by Valencia CF and the Banco de Alimentos food banks to help those in need.

Present at the event, which came the day after the NIT NADALENCA food distribution drive, was Banco de Alimento president Jaime Serra.

Valencia CF are pioneers amongst LaLiga clubs, lending their stadium to the initiative as a distribution point. This past summer, José Andrés was accompanied by VCF president Anil Murthy for the first such event involving World Central Kitchen at Mestalla. The club remain committed to helping those in need in the community, especially at such an important time of year.
