Valencia CF Joins the ‘Pañuelo Challenge’ Campaign by Fundación Aladina to Raise Awareness for Childhood Cancer and Honor Young Fighters and Their Families
As part of February 15, World Childhood Cancer Day
Valencia CF and the VCF Foundation were participants in an annual drive to raise funds for the fight against cancer this Thursday, on the streets of Valencia. Club legends and ambassadors Juan Cruz Sol and Ricardo Arias manned the charity table, accompanied by VCF Foundation director general Pablo Mantilla.
Visiting the ambassadors during the day was Tomás Trénor, president of the Valencian branch of the Asociación Española contra el Cáncer (Spanish Association Against Cancer).
The association is a non-profit organisation, consisting of patients, their family members, volunteers, collaborators and professionals. They carry out their activities throughout Spain and lead Spanish society's efforts to minimise the impact caused by cancer and improve people's lives.
