Valencia CF and UD Almeria, old Spanish football acquaintances
Valencia CF and UD Almeria are old acquaintances in Spanish soccer. Both clubs have shared up to 23 players and one coach throughout history. Fourteen of these 23 players have been with the Valencia first team and the Almería squad.
Álvaro Cervera
The former Valencia CF player joined the Club in the summer of 1992, spending 3 seasons and playing 141 matches. He is currently the coach of Real Oviedo in LaLiga Hypermotion.

Miguel Ángel Soria
He debuted with Valencia CF in 1997 with Claudio Ranieri on the bench. Soria won the 1999 Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup. He played for UD Almería from 2004 to 2006.
Miguel Pallardó
The player from Alaquàs made his debut with the first team in the 2004-2005 season with Antonio López as coach. However, he had the greatest impact under the orders of Quique Sánchez when he debuted in the Champions League. In 2013 he signed with UD Almería.
Aarón Ñíguez

The right-back joined Almería in 2006 where he spent 3 seasons. In 2009 he signed for Valencia CF, where he coincided with Unai Emery. Bruno played 65 official matches and scored 1 goal in 3 seasons.
Manuel Lillo
Lillo made his debut with Valencia CF in 2010 in a LaLiga Mestalla precisely against UD Almeria. The coach who gave him his first-team debut was Unai Emery. The defender from Alicante signed that summer with UD Almería's B team, although he also made his debut with the first team.
Sofiane Feghouli
The French-Algerian winger joined Valencia CF in the 2010-11 season. In his first season with the Club, he was on loan, starting in the winter transfer window, at UD Almeria. After his time with Almería, he returned to Valencia CF and grew to become an important player in the squad. In Valencia CF he coincided with Unai Emery and spent 6 seasons in which he accumulated 202 official matches, scoring 31 goals.
