Valencia CF and MatchWornShirt, together with Casa Caridad, for social inclusion
Valencia CF and MatchWornShirt have collaborated again to celebrate an historic milestone in Spanish football: The centenary of Mestalla, the oldest stadium in the Primera División. A charity auction is being held with the proceeds going to Casa Caridad, as happened at the very first game at the stadium 100 years ago.
Since 1906, Casa Caridad has been at the service of society to meet the basic, urgent and increasingly recurring needs of all those people who are in a situation of poverty and social vulnerability due to a lack of resources.
Casa Caridad is an independent institution that does not discriminate against anyone for reasons of race or beliefs, with a mutual respect among all users for the rules of coexistence. Proof of this is that this institution, throughout 2022, served a total of 4,206 people, of whom 63% were foreigners of more than 40 different nationalities.
That is why Valencia CF and MatchWornShirt have wanted to link their paths to those of this pioneering institution, reaffirming its commitment to help society and participate in aid programs for people at risk of social exclusion.
