Valencia CF and MatchWornShirt launch second charity auction of 2023-2024 season
Valencia CF and MatchWornShirt have teamed up for another season to launch various charity auctions throughout the 2023-2024 season. The fifth matchday of the EA Sports League that pits Valencia CF against Atletico Madrid this coming Saturday 16 September at 14:15 pm at Mestalla will be the focus of the second charity auction in which Valencia CF fans will be able to bid for the shirts that Valencia CF players will be wearing in the match.
Valencia Club de Fútbol, through its VCF Foundation, has decided to donate the funds raised to the NGO Farmamundi as a show of support and help for those affected by the earthquake in Morocco and the floods in Libya caused by cyclone Daniel. This Valencian non-profit organisation has over 30 years of experience and is an NGO dedicated to development cooperation and humanitarian and emergency action. It is also the first non-profit organisation in Spain specialised in the supply of essential medicines in emergencies.
On the other hand, the Club has invited the Moroccan Consul in Valencia, Said Idrissi El Bouzidi, to attend the meeting. In the moments before the match, Valencia CF and all the fans present at the Camp de Mestalla will observe a minute's silence in memory of the victims of these natural disasters in Morocco and Libya, and for former Valencianista player Salif Keita.
Fans from all over the world will be able to bid for their favourite player's shirt HERE and get their hands on a real collector's item.
