Valencia CF and MatchWornShirt join forces for Banco de Alimentos
The match against FC Barcelona on 29 October will host the second charity auction of the 22.23 season.
Valencia CF fans will have the opportunity to bid for the shirts of their favourite players.
The alliance between Valencia CF and the Dutch company MatchWornShirt will allow Valencianistas from all over the world to purchase the shirts that Valencia CF players will be wearing in the match against FC Barcelona.
The proceeds will go towards Valencia CF's action, through the VCF Foundation, with the Banco de Alimentos on the eve of Three Kings' Day. For the third consecutive January, Mestalla will serve as the setting for the distribution of food, VCF footballs and VCF mascots to all the families in need who attend.
Last January, Banco de Alimentos gifted families with 250 King cakes and bags of toys with balls and cuddly toys in order to help them enjoy one of the most magical nights of the year. A solidarity action made possible thanks to the contribution of Valencia CF through the VCF Foundation.
It is worth mentioning that Mestalla has been a monthly logistics hub for the distribution of food for the Food Bank since mid-2020, in addition to special events such as the one on the 5 January.
