
Two Valencia CF players have reached the final of the Under-21s European Championships, thanks to Spain's 4-1 win in the semifinals against France. Carlos Soler and Manu Vallejo are part of the 'La Rojita' squad gunning for glory in this summer's tournament.
Soler came on in the 74th minute of the semifinal, replacing Dani Ceballos, and participated in several moves -including a chance that would have been one of the goals of the competition: His lob over Bernardoni was on its way in, before being cleared off the line by Ballo-Touré.
Spain will play Germany on Sunday (8:45pm local time) in a repeat of the 2017 final. On that previous occasion, both Soler and teammate José Luis Gaya' were unused substitutes.
