Under-19 European Championship winner Ferran Torres has been named in UEFA.com's list of 50 young talents to watch in 2019/20, following his success in the summer tournament.
Previously included as one of the players set to break out in the competition, held in Armenia, the Valencia CF man made his mark with some vital goals -including both of Spain's strikes in the final against Portugal.
He was back with his teammates on Tuesday for his first training session of preseason, and was greeted with applause and praise from the rest of the squad. Torres also underwent the customary medical and fitness tests to assess his condition, ahead of a year in which he hopes to become a permanent fixture in coach Marcelino's matchday plans.
