Training on Sunday with the Alps as a backdrop
The day after their opening preseason friendly fixture against AS Monaco, the Valencia CF squad were put through a Sunday training session with a spectacular view of the Alps.
The session, which mixed tactical work with fitness, took place in the early afternoon, and saw the coaching staff dividing the players into two groups and drilling positioning in both attack and defence.

Marcelino's ideas were picked up quickly, and the players continued to take their preparations for the 2019/20 season to the next level. They were given the afternoon off to rest from their physical exertion, and made the most of their time to take a walk around the surrounding area.
