Thierry R.’s first words after renewing with Valencia CF
Thierry Correia has renewed his contract with Valencia CF until 2026. After signing his new deal, the right back opened up to VCF MEDIA, sharing his feelings and his goals to continue growing as a player.
Happy in Valencia
I am very happy because the club have given me a lot of confidence and I am working every day to return soon, because I want to help my team. I am so happy to be here. I love being in Valencia and am enjoying the club.
Recognition of hard work
For me it is a recognition of my work. When I came to Valencia I wanted to do my job and I wanted to play. Now that I am getting it done, I am very happy.

Injury recovery
I want to come back. I am getting there I don't want to stop, I want to continue because I still have a lot to improve.
Strong physically and mentally
My physique has changed, but so has my head. When I came here I was very young, and I had a fragile mentality, but now it is very strong.

Ambition
We have to live in the present, we have to work very hard to keep picking up points. We have the team that we need to end the year on a good note. Just like the coach, I want to win, and if we work hard we can win a trophy.
