The VCF Academy U-13s win Surf Cup International tournament
The VCF Academy team beat RCDE Espanyol in the final, following up on their recent Coca-Cola Cup win in Georgia
VCF Infantil A once again showed their competitive level this past weekend, winning the Surf Cup International in Salou. The tournament featured clubs such as FC Barcelona, Athletic Club and RCD Espanyol, who they beat 3-1 in the final.
The team led by Javi Sanchis enjoyed an almost perfect tournament. In the group stage, VCF beat La Floresta, Vilnius Football Academy from Lithuania and Reus. In the quarterfinals they bested the VCF Soccer Academy team from Greece and Cyprus, then went on to beat Athletic Club in the semifinals and RCD Espanyol in the final, with a total of 28 goals scored and only one conceded.

The game between VCF Infantil A and the VCF Soccer Academy team from Greece and Cyprus allowed players from around Europe to share a pitch, and an opportunity to strengthen ties with the coaches from the VCF Soccer Academy in Southeast Europe.
