The run-in for fourth place after Matchday 36

A 2-6 win over Huesca keeps Valencia CF in contention for the final Champions League spot

Valencia CF moved above Sevilla FC into fifth place in LaLiga Santander on Matchday 36, thanks to their 2-6 win over SD Huesca and their rivals' suprise defeat at the hands of Leganés. They remain in contention for fourth place, currently occupied by Getafe -who won against Girona this past weekend.

The triumph for VCF was the fifth time that they have scored 6 goals in a Primera División game, and the second under Marcelino: He also led a 3-6 triumph against Real Betis last season, in one of the club's highest scoring games in top flight history.

The battle for fourth, which would provide the victors with a place in next season's Champions League, looks like going down to the wire. Here are the remaining two games for each of the three sides involved:

FC Barcelona vs.Getafe CF
Atlético Madrid vs. Sevilla FC
