The Mestalla Tour offers new contents related to the Mestalla Centenary
On the occasion of the centenary of the Mestalla, which will take place on May 20th, 2023, the Mestalla Tour has reinforced the content linked to those 100 years of history, so that everyone who enjoys the Tour will know more and better the home of Valencianismo.
This new content includes a photographic timeline that starts on May 20th, 1923, when Valencia FC and Levante FC played the inaugural game, a friendly match; and that collects the most important events during the 100 years of Mestalla's life.
Likewise, the Sala Records Blanquinegres houses a display case with a selection of tickets from the 1920s; the program and ticket for the first international match at Mestalla (Spain-Italy, 1925); old tickets and old passes and certificates from the renovations of the Camp in 1933 and the 1950s.
In the second display case there is documentation related to athletics and equestrian championships held in the old Mestalla, the Silver Jubilee, the facade adapted to Franco's regulations, the new grandstand facade of the 50s and material and tickets for the 1982 World Cup in Spain in the stadium and more recent passes.
The first visit to this new content, which adds to the existing content of the Tour thanks to the work of Valencia CF through the VCF Foundation's Heritage Department, was led by Club ambassador Ricardo Arias, who played host to the Valencianistas collectors, who collaborated by donating documents and pieces.
