Squad send support to Gayà

Valencia CF players empathise with their teammate on his World Cup disappointment

José Luis Gayà received the news this week that he will miss the 2022 World Cup through injury. Reacting to the news, fans sent messages to the club captain on social media via the hashtag #AMUNTGayà.

Joining the fans in their show of support, his Valencia CF players also left their words of encouragement, including  Hugo Guillamón, who remains with the same squad in Qatar.

Eray Comert, Gabriel Paulista, Giorgi Mamardashvili, Cristian Rivero, Toni Lato, Nico González, Hugo Duro and Uros Racic -who is on loan at SC Braga and will play in the World Cup with Serbia, shared the image published by Valencia CF through social networks to support the defender.
