Soler: "We want two wins in the two remaining games"
Shortly after the conclusion of Valencia CF's loss to Sevilla away from home, captain Carlos Soler talked to VCF Media.
"In the first half, above all, we had more chances. In the first half we defended well and they didn't have many clear opportunities on goal," he explained.
"In the second half we started out very well, and had some counterattacks that I just think we weren't able to finish off, but the chances were there: I remember one from Manu Vallejo, Gonçalo Guedes had another, there was a well-worked corner too. However, Sevilla scored their goal, we tried to get the equaliser and take a point here, and it wasn't possible. Now we have to focus on Sunday's game."

Asked about the showing against a side still challenging for the LaLiga title, Soler said that "Competing is the minimum that can be demanded of us. The important thing in football is winning, and we didn't do that today. We haven't taken anything positive from the game, besides the effort that the team put in."
"We knew that we were coming to a tough ground, to play a side fighting for the title. Now we have two games remaining, and we will try to take two wins against Eibar and Huesca."
Soler did, however, lament the fact that the team have been inconsistent in results this term.
"We haven't managed to take two consecutive wins the entire season, and that makes it difficult for confidence. It's been a tough season and we all know that, from the players to the fans. We have all suffered and we are going to try to take the remaining six points to finish the campaign as well as possible."
