Seven return as second week of preseason training begins

The second week of preseason training for Valencia CF began on Monday with the addition of a further seven squad members, who had been given an extended break following their international commitments. José Luis Gayà, Daniel Wass, Dani Parejo, Kang In, Gonçalo Guedes, Rodrigo Moreno and Manu Vallejo were back available to coach Marcelino, and he got the week underway with an intense morning session.
Vallejo, a signing from Cadiz CF, got a first chance to work out alongside his new teammates, but the squad was only briefly at the Ciudad Deportiva. Instead, the first session of the week saw the players taken by bus to the old Turia riverbed, where fitness work and a series of runs were undertaken.
Valencia CF will train all week before travelling to Crans-Montana (Switzerland) on Friday, July 19th, for a preseason camp that includes a first preseason friendly against AS Monaco on the 20th.
Players due back shortly are Uros Racic (July 19th), Carlos Soler (July 24th) and Ferran Torres -subject to Spain's progress in the Under-19s European Championships in Armenia.
