Valencia CF Face a Challenging End to November Against Real Betis, CP Parla Escuela-Fair Play and RCD Mallorca
The first match will be at Mestalla with the other two played away
Following Valencia CF's UEFA Europa League campaign coming to an end at the semifinal stage, striker Rodrigo Moreno gave a post-match interview to thank the fans and assess the result.
"We had our moments in the tie, both here and away from home, but in the end they were more effective. We can't say that it was unfair; if you concede seven goals then it can't be unfair, and they deserved it. We believed for as long as we could, and it's a pity to go out," said the forward.
"The opening goal gave us a lot of morale, but we conceded a goal a few minutes later due to a mistake. We knew that it was going to be tough and we dipped, because every goal we conceded made things more difficult."
"Arsenal are a good team. They have very good players up front, but I would also say that they are very consistent. They played very well, so congratulations to them."
Valencia CF received another tremendous reception from the fans, who continued to show their support during the match. Rodrigo gave them a special acknowledgement for their efforts.
"I want to thank the fans, and I hope they recognise that we tried, not just today but throughout the competition. Now we have to finish fourth in LaLiga and then play the final of the Copa del Rey."
"We have to win our two games and wait and see if Getafe slip up again. It's a question of winning and waiting."
