‘Valencia CF visits your school’ kicks off a new season in Torrent
The Club will visit twelve schools with special attention to the centres affected by the flash floods
Valencia CF defender Gabriel Paulista assessed the defeat against Real Betis on Matchday 8 of LaLiga season.
The game
It was a very difficult game, in which we started well defensively, with a lot of control. However, we lacked possession of the ball and patience when it came to stealing it back and going on the counterattack. We conceded from a set piece, something on which we are working hard, and conceding a goal like that is a tough pill to swallow. We have to learn from the bad things we did. Diakhaby is an important player and we are having quite a few problems with injuries right now. We have to continue, we have important players who are able to help and solve these problems we are having.
Injuries to fullbacks
It is a bit difficult for us to have players who do not have many minutes playing as fullbacks. Even so, we defended some actions well. Betishave fast players with a lot of quality on the outside, and they were quite successful on some occasions. We cannot drop our heads; there is a long way left this season and we have to learn and continue working because this has only just begun.
