Parejo: “We're going to suffer but we'll leave our souls in the pitch with Mestalla cheering for us”

The countdown to the second leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final against Real Betis has already begun. Next Thursday at 9 pm it is a day marked in red for both the fans and the Valencia CF squad, with all eyes set on making the final. It will not be easy to eliminate the green and white team despite the positive result achieved in the first leg (2-2), hence the importance of fighting all together creating a magical atmosphere in Mestalla, as Captain Dani Parejo recognizes to VCF MEDIA.
"It's a beautiful match, we are 90 minutes away from being in a final and we play at home and in front of our people, which we face with great confidence. We are looking forward to the game and there will be times when we will suffer so we must be mentally prepared for those moments. We have to go back to relive an environment very similar to the day of Getafe; We will give everything in the pitch and the fans will push and encourage us, especially in times of difficulty, so that we can achieve the goal of reaching the final. The fans' role will be vital, we need them there every second and every minute encouraging us. Us, we guarantee that we will leave the soul on the pitch, we will fight each ball and do everything possible to play a final," says the '10' Valencia.
The dressing room is aware that Real Betis has achieved prestigious wins at home this season, such as the Camp Nou against FC Barcelona: "Having the believe that the tie is done and that we are going to play the final runs against us. We know what it costs to win a game, what it costs to score a goal ... we have to give it the value and the importance that these kinds of things deserve. We know the way and what we have to do. Things can go well or badly, but it is a game in which the team will leave the soul, will fight and run."
