“The first sensation is happiness of being back to feeling like a head coach, overseeing a match after this lockdown we’ve all been through and seeing all the players being back to doing what they enjoy the most which is playing football” said Óscar Fernández to VCF Media.
It’s nice to play again for the players to get a feel of the competition even though is a friendly you’re not up against your teammate. There are things we’re are doing well, not so well and wrong but we’re in pre-season and we need to get to know each other and it’s nice to get off to a winning start”.
It’s early days we’ve been working a week and a half they‘re raring to show what they can do and we’re having demanding fitness sessions and learning tactical aspects within the way we have set out. We have to keep working. I’m happy to be back home to help the players knock on the first-team door”.
