Valencia CF have reached an agreement with Atletico Madrid to sign Brazilian player Samuel Lino on loan.
The winger, born on December 23rd, 1999 in Santo André, Brazil, joins Valencia CF on a season-long loan, through to June 30th, 2023. He spent the last three seasons at Portuguese side Gil Vicente, making 99 official appearances, scoring 26 goals and providing 5 assists before signing for Atletico Madrid this summer.
At 22 years of age, Lino combines youth with some notable performances in the Portuguese league, which have drawn plaudits for him as a prospect for the future. He is an attacking player who comes to Valencia CF to bring pace, skill in one-on-one situations and different attacking options, with an ability to play on either wing.
