Valencia CF have reached an agreement with FC Barcelona to sign Nico González on loan until June 30th, 2023.
Born on January 3rd, 2002, in A Coruña, González joined the FC Barcelona academy at the age of eleven. In the 2021/22 season he made his debut with the club's first team, in a match against Real Sociedad.
Last season he played more than 1,000 minutes in LaLiga, scoring two goals, and also played in both the Champions League and the Europa League. He has been an international for Spain at youth level.
González is a skillful, tactically intelligent midfielder who can occupy various positions in the middle of the park.
