Meet some of the Valencia CF players who have competed in the U-21 European Championship with Spain
Juan Mata and César Tárrega, the most recent scorers in this prestigious international tournament
The `Sempre Falles' initiative returns this Saturday, as on Matchday 24 of the LaLiga season Valencia CF welcome Celta Vigo to Mestalla. The club will gift the visiting team a Ninot figurine, as they have been doing all season as part of a collaboration with the Ayuntamiento city hall to support the Fallas artist sector.
Before the game, a Valencia CF representative will hand over the figurine to a member of the Celta Vigo travelling party, as has happened at all LaLiga games at Mestalla and on away trips in the Copa del Rey. The creator of this weekend's piece is artist Sergio Amar Medina.
The central figure of the Ninot is a footballer, representing the club. The support, warmth and strength of the fans is shown in the form of a flame. Fire is associated with the city of Valencia, which itself is shown with a skyline of the most important monuments and sights.
