The Ninot figurine for the game against Celta Vigo was handed over before kickoff at Mestalla on Saturday evening, as the ‘Sempre Falles’ initiative undertaken together with the Valencia Ayuntamiento city council continues to support the region in terms of health, economic and social matters.

The presentation took place in the presence of Executive Director of Valencia CF, Joey Lim, and president of Real Club Celta de Vigo, Carlos Mouriño. Also in attendance were Valencia CF ambassadors Miguel Tendillo and Ricardo Arias.
The creator of this weekend's piece is artist Sergio Amar Medina. The central figure of the Ninot is a footballer, representing the club. The support, warmth and strength of the fans is shown in the form of a flame. Fire is associated with the city of Valencia, which itself is shown with a skyline of the most important monuments and sights.
