Nico: "A much better scoreline would have been fairer for us"
Nico González started for Valencia CF against Elche CF, playing as a pivot in the midfield. The Spaniard talked to VCF Media after the final whistle.
Learning from mistakes
Today's game was very disappointing for us. We were much better than them in the first half, and I think that a much better scoreline would have been fairer for us. We came out very switched off for the second half, and in the first 10-15 minutes they had pulled level. From then on, we reacted, but you can't afford to do that in the Primera División.
Drawing the game
“It feels like it was too little. Not only because we're playing at home, where we have to take three points every time, but because we were much better in the first half."

The philosophy
The path is clear. This team are becoming clearer about things all the time: The intensity in each match, an offensive style with many attacking players. The important thing is to continue in this way and identify with it.
Happy at Valencia CF
Last week I couldn't play because I was sick, and it's always positive to play -even more so with a club that I'm very happy to be at.
Upcoming matches
We wanted to add the three points today, but now we have two very important games and if things go well the week will be very positive.
