Mina speaks to UEFA.com: "We're VCF and we don't fear anybody"
The VCF squad are raring to go ahead of their Europa League clash with Villarreal CF -one of their most important games of the season.
Striker Santi Mina has previous experience of scoring against this Thursday's opposition, and he gave an interview to UEFA.com to preview the match.
"We knew that any team we were drawn against was going to be tough for us," explained the Galician goalscorer. "They are Spanish opposition that we know, and it's going to be a difficult tie, in which we'll need to keep a cool head. It's a two-legged tie and the return leg being at Mestalla will help us a lot, as it did before in both the Europa League and the Copa del Rey."
"We can't take our foot off the gas for even a second. We have to show intensity to play with our style and, above all, be ambitious. If we play as a team over 180 minutes, we have a big possibility of qualifying for the next round," he added.

Speaking about the importance winning a European trophy would have, Mina was clear.
"It would be something unique, and we would be able to see the excitement from the fans after so long without a trophy. I think that it's within our reach and we are prepared to fight for it; we have an incredibly ambitious team. Everyone in the dressing room is thinking 'Why can't we win a European trophy?' The quarter finals are going to be difficult, but if we get through then we'll be into the semifinals. We're Valencia CF and we don't fear anybody. We have a positive, ambitious mentality, and gradually we can achieve the objective that we all want."
