VCF Mestalla met all the groups and opposition of this new-look Segunda B made up by 102 teams following the meeting between Regional Federations’ Committee and the Spanish FA. The 102 teams into five groups which split into two subgroups each one of them.Óscar Fernández side have been placed in Group III subgroup B which will be made up by 10 teams of the Valencia region and the Balearic Islands as follows: Deportivo Alcoyano, Atlético Levante UD, Atzeneta UE, CF La Nucía, Hércules CF, Orihuela CF, Villarreal CF “B”, Valencia Mestalla, SCR Peña Deportiva and UD Ibiza.
Subgroup A is formed by 11 sides: AE Prat, CE L’Hospitalet, CF Badalona, FC Andorra, FC Barcelona B, Gimnàstic de Tarragona, Lleida Esportiu CF, RCD Espanyol B, UE Cornellà, UE Llagostera and UE Olot.
Valencia CF will cross paths with all these sides in the second term of the competition based on their position in the table in the first term. The start of the competition has been set for the 18th of October subject to confirmation by the Management Committee of the Spanish FA and protocol approval.
