Maxi Gómez takes Mestalla Forever Tour
The Mestalla Forever Tour is an essential visit for those in Valencia on holiday or on a permanent basis, capturing the essence and history of Valencia CF. The club’s new striker, Maxi Gómez, used the tour as an opportunity to get acquainted with what will be his new home ground, accompanied by VCF Media.
Ahead of the Trofeo Naranja game on August 10th, which will be the first opportunity for the Uruguayan to play at the stadium for Valencia CF, he took a look around the dressing room, checked out the trophy cabinet and stepped onto the pitch.
Gómez has played one previous game at Mestalla, with Celta Vigo, and the experience had a big impact on him.
“The fans here are unique. I’d never seen anything like it. Being able to be here and share things with Valencia CF makes me very happy,” said the forward.
Accompanied by his family and friends, Gómez was able to get an inside look at the stadium where he is expected to score many goals.
The Mestalla Forever Tour is open to the public over the summer months, with tickets available here or at the ticket office.
