Match Report: VCFF suffer away defeat to Real Sociedad (4-0)
Valencia CF Femenino visited Real Sociedad Femenino at 11:30 am kick-off time at Zubieta, the Basque Country on Matchday 26 of the Finetwork Liga F.
The first chance fell to Ana Torrodá in the eighth minute, but her effort from outside the pitch came off a local defender and behind for a corner kick.
A minute later, Marta Carro’s effort blazed over the crossbar and then Asún probed down the left flank and forced Nanclares into a save over the 10-minute mark.
Asun’s header took a deflection off a defender which came close to catching out Nanclares over the quarter-hour mark. Moments later, Enith pulled off a sensational save to deny Frassy in the six-yard box.
The tempo fell off in the closing stages of the first half and the rest of the half went off without any further incidents and it finished scoreless at the break at Zubieta.
Enith denied Jensen right after the restart. Alas, Fiamma was on the wrong end of a wicked deflection which made it 0-1 to the hosts. Then, Jensen made it 0-2 to the hosts over the hour mark on the break.
Later on, Andreia made it three to Real Sociedad and Frassi completed the scoreline in the 84th minute adding a fourth.
Valencia CF Femenino will welcome Deportivo Alavés on Saturday 29th of April at 2pm kick-off time at the Antonio Puchades on Matchday 29 of the Finetwork Liga F.
