The away side took the initiative in the early goings penning VCF Femenino in their own half of the pitch with crosses and forays into the opposition box as VCF Femenino were looking to find a foothold in the game.

Enith pulled off a great save to turn María José’s 32-yard strike behind for a corner kick. Shortly after, Candela responded at the other end from long range and Aline Reis was equal to it.      

Esther had a goal disallowed for offside over the midway mark of the first half. Alas, Blom made it 0-1 to the away side on 37 minutes.

Asun came close to equalising minutes before the break following a blistering driving run from her own half, but her effort was blocked by Aline Reis.

The away side had a narrow 0-1 lead at the break. 

VCF Femenino came out in the second half looking to bring menace into the opposition box and close to the hour mark, Salmi made it 1-1 from 12 yards after a foul on Asun.

The game opened up and saw an end to end spell after the equaliser.  

Alas, Aleksandra made it 1-2 to the away side just ten minutes later. VCF Femenino kept on pushing for the equaliser, but the scoreline remained unchanged and VCF Femenino fell to a 1-2 home loss to UD Granadilla Tenerife.
