Valencia CF travelled to southern Madrid to take on Getafe CF on Saturday, the 12th of March at 9 pm kick-off time (local time) at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez on Matchday 28 of LaLiga Santander.

Giorgi Mamardashvili pulled off a magnificent save to deny Ünal from close range scrambling it away to safety.
The first half finished goalless at half-time between Valencia CF and Getafe CF.
The second half started in a similar fashion with a hard-fought passage of play in the opening stages.
Moments later, José Bordalás made a like-for-like substitution with Maxi Gómez replacing his fellow striker Hugo Duro up front just under the hour mark in the game.
Borja Mayoral thought to have scored after a hapless Giorgi Mamardashvili goal kick, but the goal was disallowed for a handball offence as the ball came off the arm of Borja Mayoral on its way in.
The game opened up in the closing stages, but neither side were able to break the deadlock and the game finished scoreless with nothing to separate the sides at full-time in a feisty and highly contested game in Madrid.
