Valencia CF played against Leeds under 21 on Friday the 2nd of December at 1 pm kick-off time at the Antonio Puchades as part of their World Cup break run of friendly fixtures ahead of LaLiga’s resumption.
Valencia CF had a positive start to the friendly in the early goings of the game enjoying plenty of possession.
Shortly after, Marcos André opened the scoring after winning the ball back inside the opposition box and bending it inside the far post past the Leeds U21 keeper.
Valencia CF continued to dictate possession and the tempo of the game restricting the opposition.
Marcos André grabbed a brace in the 12th minute after getting on the end of a Jesús Vázquez low cross and poking the ball beyond the Leeds U21 keeper to put Valencia CF two goals to the good.

Samu Castillejo got on the scoresheet with a carbon copy of a goal after getting on the end of yet another Jesús Vázquez low cross and firing it beyond the keeper as Marcos André let the ball roll into Samu Castillejo’s path who rifled it home to make it four for Valencia CF.
Valencia CF kept on having chances in the way of danger hitting the woodwork twice. For Leeds U21 it was all about damaging limitations in the closing minutes of the first half following the flurry of Valencia CF attacks.
The first half finished 4-0 for Valencia CF as goals galore at the Antonio Puchades.
Gennaro Gattuso fielded a much-changed second-half lineup with only Jesús remaining from the first-half lineup. Shortly after, Fran Pérez made it five from close range as the same script continued in the second half.
Fran Pérez made it six after a brilliant Samuel Lino move halfway through the second half to grab a brace. Minutes later, youngster Martín Tejón made it seven after coming on with Valencia CF's tails up were in front of goal.
Hugo Duro got his name on the scoresheet making it eight with a powerful drive in the 81st minute of the second half and rounding off the scoreline for Valencia CF.
