?MATCH REPORT: Gameiro and Neto give first LaLiga win versus Real Sociedad (0-1)
Geoffrey Kondogbia had the first chance of the first half with a shot that went wide in the 24th minute. Two minutes later, Kevin Gameiro’s goal was flagged up for offside but he was not going to miss next time.
Kevin Gameiro made it 0-1 to Valencia CF with an easy pass to the net after a perfect ball by Denis Cheryshev.
Real Sociedad tried to make it 1-1 and had two shots by Olazabal which was easily saved by Neto Murara and another one by Aritz Elustondo that Neto promptly dealt with it in the 41st minute.
The first half finished 0-1 to Valencia CF.

Valencia CF started the second half trying to make it 0-2 and they nearly did with a double chance first with a Batshuayi shot and then Carlos Soler’s shot which hit his team-mate Kevin Gameiro.
Just as things started to go well for Valencia CF, the referee gave a penalty against Toni Latorre for obstructing Oyarzabal, but NetoMurara saved the day with his leg from 11 meters to William José.
Rubén Uria introduced Rodrigo and Coquelin for Cheryshev and Geoffrey Kondogbia.
The team continued to look for a second goal and almost did in the 71st minute with a great shot by Rodrigo Moreno that went wide. The match finished 0-1 to Valencia CF. Our first LaLiga win thanks to the first goal by Kevin Gameiro. Valencia CF will play versus Manchester United in Old Trafford on match day 2 on October 2nd at 21:00 h (CET).
