VCF Mestalla head coach Óscar Férnandez and Fran Pérez shared their pre-match thoughts ahead of the regional derby.
Óscar Fernández:
“It’s a beautiful game to watch between two growing academies which a producing young players and training them to bring them through to their respective first team squads. We‘re facing a similar kind of opposition which will help us to keep growing”.
Fran Pérez:
“Results aren’t going our way, but if we continue in the same vein they will. We’ve got similar styles of play, we try to bring the ball out from the back to try to play it”. We both have really talented players. It’s a beautiful game to take our maiden three points in Villarreal”.
