Valencia CF will take on CD Castellon on Wednesday the 3rd of August at 8:45 pm kickoff time at the Estadio Municipal de Castalia as part of a commemorative match of CD Castellón's centenary. 

Valencia CF are coming into this game with a balance of two wins, one loss and one draw in their preseason.

For their part, CD Castellón have recently started their preseason as the Primera Federació is set to start on the last weekend of August. The "Orelluts" have made strong signings targeting the upper echelons of the league.

This will be the first preseason friendly held on home soil. Gennaro Gattuso's side will be looking to return to winning ways ahead of their curtain raiser at the weekend against Atalanta BC in the Trofeu Taronja.
