Marcelino: "Our intention is to win on Sunday -there is no other objective than that"

Following his squad's final training session before the game against Sevilla, Marcelino spoke to the media to preview the Sunday contest in LaLiga.
Do the Sevilla FC fans have a particular resentment towards Valencia CF?
"I don't think so. The Sevilla FC fans support their side in an admirable way, but I don't think they have any special resentment towards Valencia CF. That's not the feeling I get. We're going to a difficult ground to play good opposition, who have fans that support their team a lot. Our intention is to win -there is no other objective than that."
A decisive game?
"It's not going to be definitive, because things are very even and many teams are fighting for fourth, fifth and sixth place. It's going to continue like that until the final games."
Sevilla's change of coach
"I don't know if it will affect them, but in terms of how they play, there was a change in terms of their game against RCD Espanyol. The board decided on the change of coach, and I feel bad for Pablo Machín, but I don't have any reason to get involved. I don't know if it will be a positive or negative influence on them. This game will be two good sides, with two good squads, against one another."
Possible rotations
"We're going to try to field the best eleven players to beat Sevilla FC, in what is our most immediate game. The we have another game three days later and we will look at the performance and recovery of those who participate. I have not by any means decided on a starting XI for all of the 16 games that might remain for us, because we would be exhausted by the fifth and it would be a lack of respect for the rest of the players who have brought us this far. We will look at how their performance and recovery go."
The Centenary
"We enjoyed one of the most important moments in Valencia CF's history, and I feel privileged to have been part of the celebrations. I think that for the rest of the footballers and professionals at the club, we have shared moments with some of the most important figures in VCF's history -as well as with the fans. This can only motivate us to try to be part of this history. We're going to try to do that, fighting in this final stretch with all of our intention, effort and ambition."
