Lato: “We have to be self-criticial and ambitious, and understand that we are Valencia CF"

Toni Lato gave his reaction to VCF MEDIA regarding the 0-0 draw with SD Huesca on Matchday 38 of the LaLiga season.

"We have been professionals. We knew it was a difficult situation. We are saying goodbye to a year that has not been easy for us or for anyone. You have to be self-critical, look at what has happened this season, analyse it and now disconnect to return next season with renewed strength."

Self-criticism

"This season we have all seen that many things have been lacking that cannot be lacking. You have to be self-critical, have ambition and understand that we are Valencia CF. You have to treat every game as if it were the last. There have been stages in the season where we did that, and then we relaxed. We couldn't provide continuity and that takes its toll. It means that you can't have a good season.
