LaLiga Santander Fest raises 1,003,532 euros

The ‘LaLiga Santander Fest’ event held this past Saturday, bringing together the worlds of music and football to raise money for healthcare materials in the fight against COVID-19, raised a total of 1,003,532 euros, LaLiga announced on Wednesday. Representing Valencia CF in the special concert were Dani Parejo and Rodrigo Moreno.

Besides entertaining fans connected online, LaLiga Santander fest achieved donations that will go towards the purchase of 115 non-envasive ventilators, 1.435,000 facemasks, 12,595 sterilised disposable protective suits and 500,000 vinyl gloves. Some of the funds raised will also go to the #SaldremosJuntos initiative, headed by several LaLiga players.

Valencia CF contributed to the online spectacle and broadcast it live on the official club Facebook account. The event had a reach of over 43 million viewers.
