Kang In Lee and Yunus Musah earn Golden Boy 2021 nominations

The two Valencia CF players are candidates to win the award that rewards the best U21 player in Europe

 

Valencia CF players Kang In and Yunus Musah have been nominated for the 2021 Golden Boy award, a prestigious accolade given by Italian publication Tuttosport each year to the best player under the age of 21 in the world.
With two footballers on the list of candidates, Valencia CF are the LaLiga club with the most players in contention, tied with Real Madrid and FC Barcelona.

Kang In played 1,267 minutes this past season in LaLiga and provided four assists. He is currently preparing to compete at the Olympic Games in Tokyo this summer, representing the Republic of Korea.

Yunus Musah has made the step up to the first team in the past 12 months. He played 1,535 minutes in LaLiga last term and got one goal, becoming the second youngest scorer in the history of Valencia CF. He also debuted with the United States national team, with whom he won the Concacaf Nations League.
