Judo workshop for VCF Academy

The players of the VCF Alevín A Fundación team and Alevín Femenino undertook a Judo workshop this week, to improve their durability and balance on the pitch. The initiative coincided with World Judo Day -the 161st birthday of the founder of the sport, Jigoro Kano.

After an initial theoretical explanation, the boys and girls took to the pitch to practice movements, rolls, cartwheels and breakfalls on the grass and on mats.

This judo workshop is part of the #Academia360 programme, whereby the VCF Academy teams carry out complementary activities to training, in order to have a broader vision of football and sport in general.
