Jaume: "We looked more like how we want to be as a team"
Jaume Doménech helped Valencia CF to a first away win of the season on Matchday 4, and a first clean sheet on the road since September 28th, 2019 -when the team won 0-1 against Athletic Club.
"The win was very important. We knew that we were coming to a very tough ground, where they have great attacking potential. I want to highlight the great defensive work by the team. I think that in the first half there were moments in which we showed some very nice football. We looked more like how we want to be as a team," he told VCF Media on full time.
"We wanted to give importance to reducing the goals we were conceding. I think that is everybody's job, and everybody made a sacrifice for the good of the team. In the end, it gave us a very good result, which in turn gives us confidence. It brings us closer to where we want to be as a team."
